VINE - May 2026-4 (1).jpg

No matter how you say it, there is a pronounced difference between a VINE tomato and other tomatoes.

When you consider that the average grocery store tomato has traveled over a thousand miles—and ours were grown less than twenty miles away—you can see why we are so energetic about our produce.

We grow under the real Memphis sun, in real Memphis soil, not hydroponics. Our varieties are not designed to endure a multi-week delivery cycle, but selected to deliver real flavor just hours after being picked for you.
That’s real.

What’s the difference?

VINE Foods is planting roots in Memphis, disrupting the agricultural supply chain by replacing 1,500-mile, gas-ripened imports with an under-50-mile, 5-day freshness guarantee.

Mass producers of engineered produce have appeared to rule the roost for some time. Consider us the rule-breaker, with locally grown, hand-picked, organic tomatoes ready for you at an ideal time for your taste buds rather than a truck schedule.

The flavor compounds that define an heirloom tomato develop only in the final days on the plant. That’s why ours are sun-ripened on the vine and harvested at breaker stage — not gas-ripened with ethylene in a warehouse right before lining retailer shelves.

This season, you’ll find us in stores and restaurants in the greater Memphis area, where we’re proud to grow and harvest tomatoes that taste and test the industry standard. Our vision is to compound and replicate our model in additional markets to regionally and, eventually, nationally reclaim the supply chain.
